The Afterlife of Lizzie Monroe came out about a week ago and it's had an amazing release week! On 3 top ten lists, lots of great reviews, lots of great comments about it. Makes me happy because, if you can imagine, I was a bit nervous about it. *I* love LIZZIE and the story, but you never  know how readers are going to respond. I truly believe I have the best readers in the world :)

Until next Monday, LIZZIE is 99 cents. It goes up to regular price, $3.99, after that. Be sure to go ahead and try it out. See what a historical/contemporary/zombie/inspy/romantic/epic is all about ;)

I have 2 more authors to spotlight today. They have each donated to the LIZZIE

Eva Pohler

I write fiction for teens and adults and teach writing and literature at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I live with my husband, three kids, two dogs, and two rats (Katniss and Prim, of course). I'm also an avid reader and book reviewer. I've always said I never want to give up reading for writing or vice versa. I want to do both. My favorite authors are J.K. Rowling, Tracy Chevalier, Ann Patchett, Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, Rick Riordan, and Stephanie Meyer. I have too many to name, but those are a handful of them. When I'm not spending time with the family, working, reading, or writing, I can be found watching The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, The Middle, and NCIS.
I love to interact with readers and have recently added features to my website at with this in mind. If you email me your art and/or stories based on The Gatekeeper's Saga, or on Greek mythology in general, I will post them on my website for others to enjoy. I have also added a short video on the Olympians and a fun Jeopardy Game to test your knowledge. In addition, I post weekly "Two Minute Talk Show" videos created by my teenager and his friends. Please visit my website for more details.

Fifteen-year-old Therese watches her parents die. While in a coma, she meets the twin sons of Hades—Hypnos (the god of sleep) and Thanatos (the god of death). She thinks she's manipulating a dream, not kissing the god of death and totally rocking his world.

Than makes a deal with Hades and goes as a mortal to the Upperworld to try and win Therese's heart, but not all the gods are happy. Some give her gifts. Others try to kill her.

The deal requires Therese to avenge the death of her parents. With the help of Than’s fierce and exotic sisters, the Furies, she finds herself in an arena face to face with the murderer, and only one will survive.

And Kent Breazeale

Kent Breazeale has loved the art of story telling since he was a young boy. Growing up in rural Mississippi has given him an understanding of the culture and the eccentrics of the people living in the south. He has written many short stories, poems and wedding vows and has been published in Church magazines. Kent has a collection of short stories that illustrate his natural art of storytelling.
Kent and his wife Deb served as missionaries in the remote village of Bullima on the plains of Tanzania, East Africa. They currently live in Falkner, Mississippi with their adopted dogs Harley and Ubu.
Session after session she listens to Payne as he describes events that haven’t occurred and people she is certain do not exist. She desperately wants the therapy to have a positive affect in his life—a drive born from her need to cope with her own secrets. When Payne discovers Savannah’s secret, he is convinced it is she who needs help—an obligation he believes belongs to him and one that forces him to choose between keeping his friends and helping Savannah.
I want to thank all of the authors who have donated prizes for this release! I truly, TRULY appreciate it all. :)
